"My husband and I moved to Phoenix right after our honeymoon," says Amy, who co-owns Liberty Home Products with her husband, Frank Huette. "We started in a storage shed. Frank did the installations and I was the office manager."

Since then, Liberty Home Products has been successful, and the company continues to grow. "We had one Yellow Pages ad and waited for the phone to ring," says Amy. "Now we have an 8,000-square-foot factory and showroom!"

Liberty Home Products boasts a large range of shade products, including patio sun and wind screens, retractable awnings, lattice patio covers, retractable solar shades, patio furniture, and shade sails. "Our products are designed and manufactured onsite here in Phoenix," says Amy. "This speeds up the entire process since we're not dealing with outside sources. It also saves money for both us and the customer."

"Our staff is equipped to handle any shade covering products," says Amy. "We have a rigorous hiring process and employees are skill tested in their area of expertise. Depending on the time of year, we have anywhere between 15 and 20 employees that we love!"
